South Africa offers the motorcycle tourist some of the finest road touring with over 230 mountain-passes. Well maintained and safe, these passes thread their way across the mountain ranges of South Africa, providing unsurpassed views and vistas.

LONGWAY MOTO offers riders a choice of late model BMW motorcycle hire. Ride two up and experience the awesome touring ability of the BMW 1200GS or, the exceptionally popular and capable BMW 650GS Twin.

We are the only motorcycle tour operator in South Africa to offer the fabulous range of Suzuki’s for tours and rental. The fantastic Suzuki 650 VStrom and the brutish 1250 Bandit have been specially selected due to their exceptional ability and class-leading performance.

We offer a selection of 3 to10 day motorcycle adventure tours and show you the finest roads, mountain passes and experiences the West Coast and Garden Route AND South Africa can offer.

DAY TOURS
We can organise an escorted tour with a qualified tour guide to take you around the peninsula and see Cape Point or to explore the fabulous wine region or local mountain passes.

PLAN YOUR OWN
We give you access to the map books, connect a GPS to the bike and offer a selection of different luggage options – all that’s left is for you to find your adventure and make your memories.

Based in beautiful Cape Town, LONGWAY MOTO makes motorcycle touring in South Africa accessible to anyone. Rates start at just R850.00 per day for rentals and tours at R2500.00 per day including your bike rental.

About Longway Moto

Longway Moto’s founder, Lawrence Brown is the salty sea-dog of motorcycling. With over 200,000 miles touring Europe on a range of BMW’s, Lawrence has organised and run tours for motorcyclists in many of the club environments in which he has an interest.

Lawrence’s passion for motorcycles and motorcycle touring ensures that when you take a tour organised by Longway Moto, you’ll find the trip of a lifetime at a budget you can afford.

Our fleet of bikes are modern and late model BMW’s. Although mostly GS’s, should you require one of the brilliant road bikes, these can be arranged subject to availability.

All tours are supported with a back-up vehicle and tour guide who is there to ensure your safety and enjoyment and to make sure you get the most out of your adventure.

Note: Our Motorcycle tours require a minimum of six participants/riders. A tour guide and escort accompanies tours of six plus riders. Lowest rates are calculated over maximum rental period. All rates include VAT, insurance and up to 350km / day.
